Temple Cinema returns to the hidden Masonic Temple at Andaz London for another season of chilling cinematic classics. Taking place in London's most eerie, atmospheric and secret venue, Temple Cinema Season 4: Trouble in Suburbia presents four classic films about what is lurking under the bed, the problem with the boy next door, and what lies beyond the innocent white picket fence. Don't miss the chance to see these haunting films in the spectacular confines of a marble lined, Greek-style Masonic Temple. Tickets priced at £15 including free drink + popcorn, with £35 two-course dining tickets also available.

There Goes The Neighbourhood: Blue Velvet (David Lynch, 1986) - Tuesday 21st February

The ultimate 'dark heart of suburbia' film, David Lynch's Blue Velvet follows impressionable boy next door type Jeffrey (Kyle MacLachlan) as he becomes slowly obsessed with the mysterious nightclub singer Dorothy Vallens (Isabella Rossellini), bringing him into conflict with her abusive sugar daddy Frank (a terrifying, unforgettable Dennis Hopper). Legendary for its dreamlike imagery, eerie musical numbers and the sense that there's something very weird going on in Wilmington, North Carolina, Blue Velvet is an utterly unique, beautiful slice of neo-noir. Don't miss one of cinema's great mysteries, screening in London's most atmospheric venue.

The Boy Next Door: Psycho: Psycho (Alfred Hitchcock, 1960) - Tuesday 28th March

One of the most iconic chillers of all time, Alfred Hitchcock's portrayal of Marion Crane's fateful visit to the Bates Motel is most famous for its spooky hilltop house, and the terrifying, Saul Bass-scored shower scene. But the heart of this scary, suspenseful, still shocking classic is Norman Bates himself. Played by an unbelievably creepy Anthony Perkins, Norman is the boy next door gone very, very wrong. Come and be terrified all over again, in our very own spooky hotel setting.

Don't Go Into The House: Poltergeist (Tobe Hooper, 1982) - Tuesday 18th April

A family living on an ordinary suburban street become the subject of one of cinema's most terrifying hauntings in Poltergeist. Written and produced by Steven Spielberg, and directed by horror master Tobe Hooper (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), this story of child snatching, killer clowns, indian burial grounds and things that go bump in the night is one of the scariest and most visually dazzling of ghost stories. A rare big screen showing for a film many suggest was secretly directed by Spielberg himself, you'll never look at the television set in quite the same way again.

What's Under The Bed: The Babadook (Jennifer Kent, 2014) - Tuesday 30th May

One of the true breakout cult hits of the past decade, the terrifying Babadook is horror cinema's most iconic new creation. The story of a mother and her young, sensitive son's encounter with a children's fairytale monster sporting a long black coat, top hat and spidery clawed fingers, it soon becomes a story of demonic possession. But who is the real monster in this story? Brilliantly jumpy and unbearably tense, things haven't ever gone bump in the night quite like this. You may just want to check the closet when you get home...
