Nice enough event. Organisers were lovely. Used a lock and key way to get men and women to try to talk by finding which mens keys fit our womens padlocks. Once unlocked the two people get a raffle ticket and in for a chance to win a prize of a bottle of wine at the end of the event. Each person gets a new key and lock each time so yiu can keep interacting with people.
There were a few a lot older men well over the 30-45 age range sadly. There was a couple of very drunk young men who werent even trying to get involved other than getting drunk.
The room was located in the basement of a pub, it was boiling hot (aircon seemed to not be working although told it was on max). Which for me made it hard to want to talk to men whilst im stood there sweating all over my face and body. Not a good way to encourage anyone to want to talk to me also made me so self conscious. I could see so many others sweating. Music was not great, one of the guests kindly took over the spotify playlist to try and help people get in the mood and dance. Event didnt go on for long enough. I would come again but location would need to be better and a bit more spacious.
