-
1 review - Private Central London Apartment
Description
Kurious Kittens presents our first ever BDSM Workkshops and we have a feeling they are going to be juicy! Following on from her talk in January the wonderful Dr Lori Beth Bisbey leads these 5 hour workshops designed to give you all you need to know to decide if you:
- Are interested BDSM in general
- Want to try an authority transfer based relationship
- Which role are you: dominant/submissive/switch?
- What type of authority transfer based relationship will suit you (if any)
This will be through discussion and exercises.
Workshop 1: BDSM and Authority Transfer Based Relationships 101 will also cover:
- Consent in detail – gaining it, giving and revoking it.
- Negotiating skills
- Meta-communication skills
- Risk assessment in play spaces: Safe words or no safe words
- Online BDSM versus In Real Life
- Basic relationship agreement
Workshop 2: BDSM and Authority Transfer Based Relationships 201
We will start with a review of basic skills:
- Consent
- Communication and negotiation
Then we will move to:
- Using role play in BDSM
- Creation of ritual and using it as part of a BDSM scene and/or as part of the relationship
- Rules and regulations: What kind of boundaries do you want in your relationship
- Rewards and punishments: Making these sexy and effective
I will provide lots of examples and then we will create a role play together. I will provide you with what you need to create a ritual. We will explore rewards and punishments.
Types of play: We will talk about impact play, sensory deprivation, using violet wands and electricity. There will be lots of toys to examine and some to try and a couple of demonstrations. This will include a discussion of creating toys and using what is found in the environment.
Finally we will move to a discussion of:
- Consensual non-consent and other edge play
- Marks of ownership
- Endings
The workshops are designed for people who have only just started thinking about BDSM, for beginners and for experienced people who want to re-think their relationship to power and brush up on essential skills. Please come prepared to engage and enjoy.
Stuck for a gift for Valentines Day?! I think tickets to these workshops will gain you some brownie points. Ticket price includes a glass of fizz on arrival and a light lunch.
1 x workshop = £90
2 x workshop =£145
