First impression of the venue was great but we felt it then went downhill. We were greeted with a warm glass of nearly flat prosecco. We were shown to our seats in the middle of a booth, as high up in the rafters as you could go, not good if you have vertigo! We were sharing with 2 other, unknown, couples - it would have been extremely cosy except, luckily, 1 of the couples did not arrive. The view was restricted when everyone was sitting and when people in front stood up, you couldn't see a thing. The food was inadequate. It consisted of a luke warm piece of chicken on a splattering of sauce and an small triangle of potato. This was followed by a run of the mill 'signature' cupcake; we had to go and get something else to eat on the way home as we were both starving! Drinks were table service only, with a service fee added each time, and it took a long time to get served. First you had to catch the waitresses eye, that took ages, then a 20 minutes plus wait for the drinks to arrive, this was after reminding staff we were still waiting. All the waiting time did help save money though because there was only enough time for 2 drinks. The compare was good but he only seemed to interact with those on the ground floor close to the stage. The only plus side was the band and singers, who were great!
