L'Etranger Restaurant

Description

Winner of the Good Food Guide’s London Best Restaurant Award in 2009, L’etranger in Kensington serves Japanese-influenced French cuisine, as well as maki and sashimi alongside a world-class wine selection. An award winning restaurant, L’etranger has earned over 30 accolades - including an AA Rosette for Best Wine List in the UK 2013 - since its opening in 2002.

Signature dishes at L’etranger in London include the renowned caramelised black cod with miso as well as the pan seared Scottish scallops and the Truffled Polenta Sumo Chips.

Named for Albert Camus’s 1942 work, the restaurant’s interior echoes the Nobel Prize-winner’s minimalist writing style. Gastronomically the menu is a meeting of eastern and western traditions.
