What they say:

Curating pan-Asian cuisine for the likes of Victoria Beckham and the cast of Game of Thrones, Scott Hallsworth brings his pop-up, Freak Scene to Soho in a move from Clerkenwell. Focusing on 'curious Asian plates' the restaurant serves chicken-fried chicken with peanut soy and cucumber pickles and miso grilled black cod tacos with sushi rice and scorched red chilli are dishes from the pop-up that will be brought to Frith Street.

What we say:

The venue fits its quirky name, which comes from 90's indie band Dinosaur Jr's song, with Japanese game shows playing on screens and vintage posters on the walls. With drink options unique enough to rival the food menu, sake bombs, shochu, and yuzu-spiked Wild Beer are on the list. Seating varies from having a front row spot at their open kitchen to watch the cooking go down on Japanese robata grills or reveling in that little bit of sun at their outside seating in the summer.
