The latest eatery from Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar, Kanishka in brings a little bit of the unknown to Mayfair. While London is home to some of the finest Indian restaurants in the Western Hemisphere, Kanishka puts a focus on the lesser-known regions of the country, particularly the Seven Sister States to the east of the country.

Within the vibrant, foliage-decked interiors of the restaurants, diners can enjoy a stunning selection of plates. From a Sikkim-inspired venison tartare, to a seafood and smoked cabbage dish that takes influence from Samundri cooking, Kochhar has brought some beautiful plates of food to the table.

The cocktails too are all a part of the Kanishka experience, with everything from a Roast Banana Old Fashioned, to a choose-your-own-adventure-style mixology where guests are invited to choose from a menu of herb and spice distillates to be mixed with tonic and their spirit of choice.
