What they say:

The team behind the Michelin-starred Jamavar have created their latest venture around the people of the Mumbai railways. Inspired by the Dabbawalas, a team of men who courier meals from families to workers across the city, Bombay Bustle evokes the spirit of the city through its interiors as much as its food as different sections of the restaurant are designed to mimic a first-class railway carriage, the retiring rooms of a station and the art deco architecture seen around Mumbai. Head chef Rohit Ghai has created a menu comprised of popular regional dishes, as well as his own family recipes to tie together the communal with the personal.

What we say:

This latest venture from Rohit Ghai and Samyukta Nair of Jamavar is a new type of restaurant for Mayfair. Inspired by a group of Mumbai men whose job it is to deliver meals to workers from their families, Bombay Bustle is a melting of pot of styles and dishes and that draw on the spirit of the city. With a menu featuring traditional dishes such as Kolhapuri spiced spit roasted chicken and a sweet and delicious double ka meetha with tutti fruity masala milk and almonds, it's a taste of the authentic lesser-seen Mumbai in the heart of London's most exclusive dining district.
