It's official: Bao is heading south of the river, bringing their signature buns with them. Located in Borough, the third restaurant marks another opening backed by JKS Restaurants, who also own Gymkhana and Brigadiers. The new location, which will be just minutes from foodie hotspot Borough Market, is taking over the spot where Feng Sushi used to be.
With 1,600 square feet of brand spanking new space, Bao Borough will offer their staple Taiwanese buns with a slew of new dishes on the menu. If you're a fan of the much-loved pig blood cake with cured egg yolk and iconic fried Horlicks ice cream, you're gonna love this. We hope to see even more sake, creative cocktails and Asian twists on classics that made the original Bao and its Fitzrovia sister site so popular.
