What they say:

Borrowing its name from a common wine terminology, Legs come to Hackney bearing “delicious options for lunch and wine-focused dining in the evening.” Head chef is Magnus Reid - formerly of The Rooftop Cafe - and he’ll prepare meat, seafood and veggie dishes to complement a small and regularly rotating wine-list showcasing lesser-known independent producers. Legs will also make their own pickles and vermouth in the basement.

What we say:

With a diverse menu covering everything from suckling pig to smoked aubergine with dried fruits and a wine list promising to showcase some of the city’s smaller producers, the opening of Hackney’s Legs is rightly causing a stir for east London foodies. A cracking new option for laid-back drinking and dining on Morning Lane.
