What they say:

After a three-month hibernation, the Goat and Boots pub on South-West London’s Fulham Road, respawned as Goat. The new site is a 140-cover restaurant, cocktail bar and all-day lounge. The old site was a popular feature in Chelsea’s pub scene, and was taken over by Tim Cunliffe and Steve and Katia Manktelow last July.

The bar has drawn inspiration from Soho House Group’s London-based pizzeria concept, Pizza East. Given the all day opening hours, guests can enjoy great food and delicious cocktails, throughout the day. The brunch menu features classics such as eggs benedict or florentine and pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Mains include wood-fired pizza, steaks and lobster from the grill alongside a variety of salads. That’s not all – there are some tasty desserts, with some of the standouts being the New York cheesecake or Italian ice cream.

What we say:

Famous Chelsea pub, The Goat and Boots, has undergone a complete makeover. The not only has a new name but a new face and concept. Goat bar offers guests an all day drinking and dining experience. The owners, who took over the site last summer, have modelled the site on trendy Shoreditch-eatery, Pizza East, which can only mean good things.

Expect great cocktails, authentic pizza - cooked in the wood-fire oven, a cool and vibrant atmosphere - Just what the area needs. The venue opens its doors in March (try your best to patiently wait) and will be a welcome addition to Chelsea's, occasionally rather stale, Fulham Road.
