Sessions Arts Club

March 2020

Something exciting is coming this March... and no, we aren't talking about daylight savings. Landing in Clerkenwell just in time for sunnier days, Sessions Arts Club is the new studio, bar, restaurant and venue from painter Jonny Gent, restaurateur Jon Spiteri (co-founder of St John) and architect Russell Potter, in collaboration with brothers Oliver and Ted Grebelius of Sätila Studios.

With space for 60 diners, the restaurant is to be overseen by chef Alex Vines (ex-40 Maltby Street, Rochelle Canteen and Sardine) with seasonal plates leading towards British flavours in the winter and Mediterranean influences during summer.

Housed in a restored Grade II-listed courthouse, the multifaceted space will bring food, wine and art together; with a roster of events spanning art, fashion shows, music, wellness, design and theatre. On top of all that, there's also talk of an open-air rooftop lounge complete with outdoor fireplaces.
