Now Open

Something exciting is coming this summer... and no, we aren't talking about reality TV. Landing in Clerkenwell just in time for sunnier days, Sessions Arts Club is the new studio, bar, restaurant and venue from painter Jonny Gent, restaurateur Jon Spiteri (co-founder of St John) and architect Russell Potter, in collaboration with brothers Oliver and Ted Grebelius of Sätila Studios.

With space for 60 diners, the restaurant is to be overseen by chef Florence Knight (food writer and ex-Polpetto cook) with seasonal plates leading towards British, French and Italian cooking. Think lamb sweetbreads and clams with cimi di rapa orecchiette.

Housed in a restored Grade II-listed courthouse, the multifaceted space will bring food, wine and art together; with a roster of events spanning art, fashion shows, music, wellness, design and theatre. On top of all that, there's also talk of an open-air rooftop lounge complete with outdoor fireplaces and views of the building's infinity pool
