This masterclass is the perfect introduction for anyone interested in learning more about tarot! If you've got a deck sitting unused at home or you've tried to memorise the meanings but keep getting stuck or simply want to get started - then this is for you! This session shakes up tradition and explores tarot from a more inclusive and fun perspective.
The masterclass is led by Melissa Mercury, creator of Mercury Tarot. She has been reading tarot for 15 years and has read for over 5,000 people. Melissa has featured on The Love Island and Paranormal Activity Podcast and read tarot at Latitude Festival. Her corporate clients include Amazon Prime UK, Sony Music, Netflix, Larian Studios, Ogilvy, Oxford University, Reddit and Lovehoney.
The masterclass includes:

Bring your own tarot deck, pen and notepad. The class will be based on the classic Rider-Waite Smith Deck, so this deck or one based on it is advised. Additional tarot decks will be available on the day if you forget!

I'm Melissa Mercury. Qualified, down to earth and inclusive tarot reader, teacher and enthusiast! Tarot is my passion and I love to share this with others, whether that be giving a reading or teaching others how to read for themselves.
I've always been into the more spiritual and witchy side of life, growing up on Sabrina The Teenage Witch, Buffy, The Craft and The Addams Family gave me a taste for all things gothic and mysterious. Outside of tarot, my favourite thing to do is go to gigs and festivals, especially rock and metal. I play video games, love sci-fi and enjoy a cocktail or two at the best bars across London.
I've read tarot for over 5000 individuals to date. My clients include Amazon Prime Video, Sony, Netflix, Reddit, Larian Studios, Lovehoney, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Ogilvy and MiQ Digital. I've worked at venues of all shape and size, from bars to theme parks. I love dressing up for events and am happy to do tarot in a more theatrical way. One of my highlights was reading tarot dressed as an elf to celebrate the launch of video game Baldur's Gate 3.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
