What they say:

After finding success in Brighton, The Coal Shed is opening its first location in London in the new One Tower Bridge redevelopment. The venue takes surf and turf into a unique, high-end direction, serving up a selection of meats and seafood supplied locally and sustainably, including their famed 35-day, dry-aged Scottish steaks. Just moments from the iconic Tower Bridge, this location is aiming to be a more 'grown up' location, boasting a more refined style within a glass box setting. For drinks, they will offer an extensive wine list, a great selection of champagnes, smoke-themed cocktails, and a number of whiskies.

What we say:

The owner of The Coal Shed Brighton and The Salt Room is expanding to the capital, and his new plans are fittingly big for the city. Not only will they be using the same top quality ingredients, they are planning on growing their repertoire to different types of meat to explore newer flavours. Most of the dishes will be cooked on hot coals, with the ovens reaching up to five hundred degrees Celsius, which lends the meat an unmissably tender, smoky flavour. To accompany their a la carte menu, they’ll also be offering daily specials, a sharing Sunday menu and large cuts of beef perfect for the whole table.
