What they say:

The Salt Yard group opens yet another Central London restaurant, taking the opulent glamour and engulfing charm of Venice to St James's Market. With a menu curated by Head Chef James Thickett - formerly of Opera Tavern - guests dine on traditional British and Venetian seafood dishes, whilst indulging in some of the finest wines produced by Northern Italy's endless vineyards. Crucially, the delicately balanced flavour combinations are wonderfully complemented by the venue's sleek aura.

What we say:

The Salt Yard group certainly know what it takes to storm up London's culinary ladder, having already opened Dehesa and Ember Yard in Soho. The food on offer is obviosly stunning, and if the team can maintain their commitment to freshness, they'll continue to put a smile on the faces of all who indulge. But of greater significance is the restaurant's location; they truly couldn't have chosen a more ideal setting. Steeped in history, wonderfully immersive and with a weightless romanticism about it, St James's Market perfectly complements the sleek vibes of the restaurant.
