Launching the inaugural Lydia Daisy’s Doomsday Cabaret on Thursday 12 March at Love Shack in Bethnal Green, Hackney, the week of International Women’s Day.
This is a queer led, feminist cabaret centring women, trans and queer performers in an intimate 50 capacity venue. One night only.

Created by artist activist and Mistress of Ceremonies Lydia Daisy, Doomsday Cabaret is not a party. It is a response.
A bold theatrical space for those most often told to tone it down, calm it down or shut the f*ck up. No “good girls” sitting quietly. No shrinking. Just sharp humour, dangerous tenderness and unapologetic presence.
Expect circus, spoken word, clowning and the gloriously hard to describe. Funny, political, tender and chaotic in equal measure.
Capacity is limited and early booking is strongly advised.

Lauren fell in love with hooping ten years ago and has not put her hoops down since. What began as fascination became devotion. Expect a mesmerising fusion of dance, illusion and circus as she brings her hypnotic flow to the cabaret. Fluid, magnetic and quietly spellbinding.

Artist activist clown. Professional wonderful weirdo. Cabbage unleashes one of the many creatures living inside him and lets it roam the stage. Surreal, sincere and hard hitting in the most unexpected ways. Expect absurdity with teeth and a kind of silliness you will not forget.

Raven is a writer, spoken word artist, dancer and all round creative force. Her work blends depth with playfulness, sensuality with sincerity. Sometimes she speaks. Sometimes she moves. Sometimes she does both and the air shifts. Expect a little silly, a little saucy and a whole lot of soul stirring presence.
✧ Thea Bys ✧
She/Her | Thea Bys introduces herself exactly as she is. A
spoken word poet, though she has always preferred to blur the edges
of that term. She once considered delivering her poems by carrier
pigeon or interpretive dance, but here she is instead, offering
them straight from her mouth, sharp and deliberate. A fierce
activist, powerful feminist and unapologetic rule breaker, Thea
carries majestic fire in her delivery. Expect wit, rebellion and
poetry that burns with purpose.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
