What they say:

Bringing a slice of South American sunshine to Bethnal Green's Museum Gardens, Chringtuito is the latest reincarnation of the stunning Grade I listed St John's Church.

Boasting a sunny patio and roomy rooftop terrace, this place is the perfect spot to catch some rays whilst doing a spot of East London people watching. And you won't go hungry either - the menu here is made up of Latin style small plates like grilled mackerel with Andes sauce, pan-friend kings prawns and pan con mushrooms, served with garlic on fluffy sourdough.

What we say:

The tapas menu takes note of both Spain and South America. You can enjoy Catalan flatbread dishes named after some of the greatest Spanish cities, such as the ‘Barcelona’, made from Serrano ham with manchego on a paprika base. Meanwhile, South America peaks in in the form of their pulled jackfruit tacos, and there’s hybridisation going on with the mac n queso, a glorious mix of house mac with manchego & goats cheese, topped with fresh chilli and crispy chorizo. And what’s a Spanish feast without drinks: expect a range of coffees for early risers (such as cafe cortado), and mescal cocktails for the sunset-watchers.
