Chiringuito is a relaxed tapas bar in Bethnal Green.

Set in the area’s Museum Gardens and sat next to the Grade I listed St John’s church, the venue is split between an airy yet compact ground floor venue, and a rooftop terrace. Alongside the patio seating, it provides space for alfresco eating and drinking just a stone’s throw from Bethnal Green station.

With their menu, Chiringuito hopes to deliver community eating without sacrificing quality, with a menu of tapas and small plates. They’ve taken inspiration from Spain’s greatest cities with their Catalan flatbread dishes like ‘Barcelona’, made from Serrano ham with manchego on a paprika base, as well as South American dishes like pulled jackfruit tacos. For drinks, they offer everything from café cortado, to their signature mescal cocktails.
