What they say:

Opened in September, Nutbourne brings all-English produce and an all-day menu to Battersea. The restaurant, which is the third for the Gladwin brothers, uses exclusively British produce, in particular meat from their family farm and wine from the vineyard. With an aim of bringing a community-feel restaurant to Battersea, Nutbourne is open throughout the day, beginning with breakfasts of smoothies, Suffolk quinoa and chia porridge and leading on to meat-heavy dinners.

What we say:

Eating fresh, local food that hasn't be flown a million miles is cool right now, and there are a great load of restaurants specialising in serving British produce. But Nutbourne, opened in Battersea in September, is cranking things up a notch by using food from the family's farm and wine from their vineyard. This is the third restaurant opening for the Gladwin brothers, who are changing the theme for Nutbourne, making it a venue for all occasions. Hungover? Go for their epic full-English. Healthy bite to eat? Try the daily salad with pulses, grains and greens. Impressing a date? Order the grouse which is sizzled right in front of your eyes.
