Get your glad rags on, grab a party hat and don your dancing shoes because the Crown and Shuttle is turning FIVE! Join them on June 9th in the Crown’s enormous garden where they’ll have everything you’d expect from a 5th birthday party - but with added booze and fewer tantrums.
Live bands and DJs will fill the garden with banging tunes from 4pm, with band The Ridley Rockets & London-based French DJ & producer Laurent Schark keeping the vibes going all night long.
Entertainment and wonder will be provided by a balloon artist and a magician, and you can get glittered up to the nines with facepaint before you pout it out in the photobooth. There’ll be enough entertainment to keep even the shortest of attention spans captivated all day.
The Crown and Shuttle is putting booze front and centre of the celebrations with Hop Stuff creating the Crown’s very own Birthday IPA, while the garden bar will host a tap takeover from favourite brewers and greatest hits from the past five years. Expect incredible brews from their old friends at Hackney Brewery, Five Points, Purity Brewing Company and Sharps. Langley’s gin, Malibu cocktails, prosecco and other specials will be flowing from five different bars. Hop Stuff will be going head-to-head with Langleys Gin as we witness the ultimate booze battle of the past five years: Craft Beer vs. Gin, which will win?
The Crown and Shuttle’s beloved BBQ will be sizzling back into action, with boozy jelly and ice cream and alcoholic ice pops served up by LAPP for afters, of course. And keep an eye out for the free birthday cake and choc ices doing the rounds.
You can’t have a birthday party without presents, so the Crown and Shuttle will be shelling out boozy gifts by the bucket load all day. The first 300 people through the doors will get their hands on party bags stuffed with party hats, party poppers, and party-starting tipples (because party bags are the best!). Five lucky punters will get extra special party bags with proper good swag. Party games will be popping up all day with the chance to win prizes including a Five Points brewery tour, Big Boozy Pub Quiz tickets, bar tabs and more!
