Screening 'Finding Fela', a documentary on the founding father of Afrobeat - Fela Kuti on the big screen followed by a Q&A with Fela's Egypt 80 keyboard player Dele Sosimi, conducted by Alex Farrell (London Afrobeat Collective).
We will delve deeper into the story of Fela and discuss the impact he continues to have on musicians and artists around the world. There will be a track listening and discussing the story behind some of Fela's most famous lyrics. We'll be asking Dele Sosimi about his own music and how he views the modern movement of Afrobeats.
