🎷 Live Music Returns to The Champion – May Bank Holiday Sunday 🎶
After years without live music, The Champion is thrilled to welcome it back with a very special May Bank Holiday Sunday jazz session.
Join us on Sunday 24th May, from 5.30pm to 9pm, for an evening of world‑class live jazz as the Pete Lukas Jazz Band takes to the stage. Settle in with a great drink, soak up the atmosphere, and let the music fill one of Notting Hill’s most iconic pubs.
Pete Lukas is a mainstay of the London jazz scene, known for his powerful, soulful sound and deep roots in hard bop. Over the years he has performed alongside some of the biggest names in British and international jazz, including Steve Fishwick, Leon Greening, and New York baritone saxophonist Gary Smulyan. While accomplished on alto and tenor, Pete’s true voice is the baritone saxophone, delivering a gutsy, full‑bodied sound inspired by the legendary Pepper Adams.

3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
