Learn the basics of crocheting and master a simple, versatile stitch to get you started on your crochet journey.
If you’ve wanted to take your first step into the world of crochet, then this relaxing beginner’s workshop is perfect for you.
During the session, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of crocheting by making a small sample using a few basic stitches. You’ll then use these skills to begin crocheting a small baby blanket.
By the end of the session you’ll have mastered the basics and made a start on your blanket which you’ll be able to confidentially finish at home.
We’ll be sharing practical advice about yarns, hooks and where to purchase, and be on hand throughout the time to provide support if you get stuck.
All materials including a selection of colourful yarns and a crochet hook will be provided for you to take home to complete your small blanket.
Once you have mastered these basics techniques, you will have the skills to start crocheting more things like scarves, cushion covers or throws.
