What they say:

Restored to its former glory, this Clapton pub, first established in the 1890s, is back with a serious bang, and its brought some thoroughly modern touches with it. Along with vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu, every Sunday will see the pub cooking up a bottomless roast - that's bottomless sides and gravy for the uninitiated. As if that weren't enough to set alarms ringing in your habitually hungover head, the bar will be offering a range of Bloody Mary sharers to soothe those boozed out brains of yours that includes either vodka, tequila or gin.

What we say:

Following more than a decade of shifting facades, The Elephant's Head is firmly back in Clapton and it's set to serve up some very good food. From bottomless roasts, to crispy cod cheeks with mushy pea puree and even a dairy-free chocolate cake to keep the local vegans' sugar-buzz alive, this Hackney pub is likely to be a hit with a new breed of East Londoner, alongside the old regulars. If tasty food wasn't enough, the bar will be offering an array of craft beers sourced from local brewers, as well as a cocktail menu with a strong 90's vibe to it. Fusing the Hackney of past and present, The Elephant's Head is sure to be met with a warm welcome back.
