What they say:
Spitalfields has some wonderful dining and drinking spots - we all know that - but none are quite like The Culpeper. It's been there since 1884, but if you can't remember that far back no fear, because the venue is back and looking better than ever. Now open on this historical Commerical Road site, The Culpeper is a drinking spot that combines rooftop drinking and dining with the classic London pub experience. With a rooftop garden supplying the kitchen and a herbal cocktail menu, The Culpeper blends old and new with consummate ease.
What we say:
Herbal cocktails on a fresh new rooftop terrace? Yes please. The Culpeper is a lovely local pub and restaurant that has a notable neighbourhood feel to it. There to see you through the day from breakfast until late, it's hard not to be charmed by this little number. We'd heartily recommend popping by this East London favourite and checking it out for yourselves, we'll be the ones kicking back on the rooftop and marvelling at Spitalfields in all its splendour.
