London's event explosive Oval Space, popularly perceived as a mecca for foodies, film fanatics and music junkies alike, is teaming up with the Behind This Wall bunch to set up a laid-back, yet versatile restaurant bar on their mega-vibey, sun-swept terrace. Kicking off the May Day bank holiday with techno headliner DJ Jeff Mills and a bar awash with experimental liquid concoctions, the Oval Space terrace certainly seems set for summer 2015.

If you're a Hackney-ite you might have been acquainted with Behind This Wall already as they pop up with club nights and record exchanges at venues such as Plastic People and, more recently, Dance Tunnel. Modish and multi-faceted, the Behind This Wall lot are putting together a bar that covers every base from voga and movie nights to open-deck parties and vinyl exchange sessions.

Open from noon until midnight Monday to Friday with weekends offering an eclectic mix of music events and vinyl markets, they're sure to keep you hooked. Head down to the Oval Space terrace for a "Balearic brunch" or a gourmet British BBQ courtesy of Parish London before hitting up the bar, where the Behind This Wall team pride themselves on their "medicinal" and "botanical" cocktails together with their wide selection of producers set to spin the decks this summer.
