Oktoberfest Gives Londoners Another Excuse To Get Boozy

As if Londoners need another excuse to get boozy. Dust off your finest lederhosen and get ready to drink your body weight in beer - for three weekends across September and October, the annual London Oktoberfest celebration makes it way over from Munich to bring Londoners a beer fuelled party, in homage to, well... beer!

Get ready to drink your body weight in German Beer at London Oktoberfest.

For the next two weekends (19th - 22nd September and 26th - 29th September), Kennington Park in Lambeth will play host to 3,300 Oktoberfest-ers, ready to soak up a tankard or two of German beer. The venue will change over the following weekend (3rd - 6th October), and guests can make their way to Millwall Park in Canary Wharf for another weekend of beer-fuelled revelry.

Oktoberfest London will host Albfetza, one of Europe's favourite Oktoberfest party bands for the first two weekends at Kennington Park, whilst the third and final weekend will see a performance from Hofbraeu-Regiment. When the bands aren't on stage, DJs will play a set of famous Schlager songs, guaranteed to have you dancing on benches.

Entry is free on Fridays and Sundays, although entry on Saturdays will cost you £5, with beer and food available for purchase inside. Alternatively, you can reserve a space for you and your guests for £34 (£39 on Saturdays); on top of seat reservation, this package includes snacks, 2x1.5 litre pints of London Oktoberfest Beer or 1 bottle of wine, a German Schnitzel with potato salad and a dessert surprise.
