The capital is known for its incredible ice skating scene, with everything from Glide at Battersea Power Station to the iconic Hampton Court Palace Ice Rink. But 2025 is shaking it up as there's a new slab of ice on the block. Here's everything you need to know about Skate Leicester Square.

What Is Skate Leicester Square?
Skate Leicester Square is a brand-new ice rink set up by world-leading entertainment company, Underbelly. You'll have the opportunity to glide around London's West End, followed by a trip to the bar for a well-deserved cup of mulled wine (or chocolate for the little ones).
Tickets to the ice rink will also be raising money for the Angel Child Fund at the Brain Tumour Charity, which was originally created by the Underbelly co-founder Ed Bartlam.
When Is Skate Leicester Square Opening?
The ice rink will be open from 1st November 2025 to 4th January 2026. You'll be able to book 45-minute sessions between 10am and 10pm during the festive period.
