The location is quite a quirky pub, very relaxed lots of people, good atmosphere. The bar staff were great, friendly and funny. I thought all the acts were really good we chuckled and laughed from start to finish. Specially the chap I think Jason who was introducing the acts, and Paul who had stepped in as the headline act after the girl had to pull out.. Really really funny.... My friend wanted to sit on the front row, but I was like 'you never been to a comedy club before hey?? , never sit on the front row!!'... LOL so glad we didn't. My only complaint of the night is the 1960's wooden chairs really need updating to something a little more comfortable .... Great night will defo go again. Visited The Four Thieves on 2017-06-07
by on June 9th, 2017

Good comedy for a reasonable price, comedians were nice and interactive without being over baring. I will definitely try it out again. Also the four thieves is a funky place with a huge selection of Gins & gin cocktails, plus a pretty deeet arcade upstairs with crazy golf, VR & more Visited The Four Thieves on 2017-05-10

Laughed all evening so thanks for a really fun night! really enjoyed all three comedians and especially the MC. Would definitely recommend this venue :) Visited The Four Thieves on 2017-01-25

Well Reg made it this time and though he wasn't as much about the funny he said plenty of things to make you think (he did say a few funny things as well though, but then that's just Reg I guess). Also, as usual the support that Robyn put on was excellent and of course she herself was delightful. Highly recommended!!! Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-10-09
by on December 5th, 2016

Hilarious as always! Excellent pizza too! The MC Robyn is really great at getting the audience relaxed and ready for the comedians as she is very funny herself, and then the acts were a good variation of comedic styles. Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-02-04
by on November 25th, 2016

Reginald D. Hunter had to pull out, however Patrick Monahan stepped in to the breach at the last minute and was as awesome as he always is, even getting several audience members to race him crowd-surfing (one supported by myself and my mobility scooter) and the support acts were excellent as well. And of course Robyn held it all together as usual Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on September 4th, 2016

Excellent night. The comedy was excellent with all three acts being hilarious and outstanding. The venue was cosy and small and the dark room and candles looked wonderful. Food was excellent (meat sharer for two) and drinks well priced. Strongly recommend. Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-08-22
by on August 27th, 2016

Another wonderful night of laughs, Imran Yusuf was a delight, not only was he very funny, he also made people think about larger things than laughs and was very friendly to me asking about my MS as he understands it because his friend and fellow stand up had it. Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on August 21st, 2016

Robyn and Bob weren't there and were missed, but James Redmond (Fin from Holyoaks when it was great) filled in as MC really nicely! All acts were very funny, but of course Holly Walsh was the funniest the same as when I've seen her live before. Laugh Train Home is a must see every week! Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on August 12th, 2016

Always an extremely funny and entertaining night out, week in, week out. Friendly staff, good food and plenty of alcohol options, plus both Robyn and Bob are always fun and funny to be around Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on August 7th, 2016

Not Seen On TV nights are always interesting and nice to see comedy from people I've never seen before. Well Steve Bujega (pronounced Boo-Jay-A) I've actually seen once before, but guess that just shows how much live comedy I've seen. But anyway he was very funny, as was Jason Patterson, but Andrew Bird was grateful step funnier. All in all a fantastic evening! Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on July 29th, 2016

Went to 3 of the 5 Edinburgh Previews and was not disappointed. Never seen a bad act at Laugh Train Home and the Fringe Previews were no exception. Robyn Perkins, Josie Long, Tom Allen, Suzie Ruffell, Elliot Steel and Sean Walsh I salute you. My face aches from laughing so much! Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-07-24
by on July 15th, 2016

I just called these guys to enquire about the pool tables and the lady that answered said they don't have any but was very helpful explaining the arcade area upstairs to me, I was looking for pool originally but this place still looks great so I'll definitely be going xx

First night of The Four Thieves Comedy Fringe last night was different to the usual Laugh Train Home that I regularly go to every Wednesday but still great fun Robyn was on form as ever, Ria Lina did her whole preview of Dear Daughter and though some didn't seem to get all of it, I certainly did! I'm sure she'll go down really well in Edinburgh, I hadn't seen Bob "Walshy" Walsh's WRONG comedy show before but I'm so glad that I finally did, what a wonderful 2 fingers up at P.C. Crap! Shame Simon Evans was ill, but that's life Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20
by on July 11th, 2016

Never a disappointment at Laugh Train Home! Robyn always gets great acts and Thursday was no different, with Sarah Callaghan, Sindhu Vee and Dame Baptiste all having me laughing in overdrive. Come along, the week of Edinburgh previews (2 a night Sunday - Thursday) I'm sure will be EPIC!!! Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-20

Hilarious! Been a couple of times and always enjoy it, one of the best nights in Battersea! Robyn's cover MC Ria did a great job holding together three dark, but side splitting comedians Definitely be returning for more Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-06-21

Awesome as ever. The Not Seen On TV nights are often even better than normal as I get to see acts I've not heard of before but which Robyn wants us to experience and she knows her comedy Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-12-14

What a night, Zoe Lyons was extremely funny, as were the other acts and a great bonus was that I got myself a selfie with PC Andy from Torchwood (aka Tom Price) Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-12-14

by on April 22nd, 2016

Sara Pascoe who headlined, was excellent: very funny and relevant all round. Of the other 2 acts, the first was very good, the second, not up to scratch. The MC, Robyn Perkins, gets better all the time. Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-03-20

great headliner. ability to have pizza delivered at the interval. not the price advertised on the website though! they have put them up in 2016 as it used to be £10 for pizza and commedy! Visited The Four Thieves on 2016-02-03

Decent line-up, despite having to keep the crowd quiet - there were three groups in. Probably worth a look. Bar was too busy to eat in beforehand though - I recommend eating elsewhere. Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-11-29
by on December 18th, 2015

Good line up and tasty food. Very busy though so need to get there in time. Best order before you eat (and is delivered in the break). Friendly staff, would definitely visit again Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-11-17
by on November 25th, 2015

Great pub. Venue is small enough that you are always at threat at being picked on by the comedian. One criticism - pizzas are razor thin and food tad expensive. Visited The Four Thieves on 2015-11-16
by on November 20th, 2015

Big surprise; Had heard of the four thieves scene before but it was the first time I attended. Good skits & nice drinks. The ladies were hilarious! Tom was dark and probably the order didn't do him justice.
by on September 11th, 2015

It was a great night out. Love the pub, good food and really like their own brewed beer. Tom Stade was hilarious. What more could you ask for on a £6 ticket!
by on August 3rd, 2015

A lot of stand up comedy can be mediocre, and on the whole you get what you pay for, but at £6 a ticket this was a really fantastic night. Lots of different artists delivering high energy formats, and the headliner was genuinely well known. If you're attending the comedy you can get a pizza for £5. Nice crispy base, but overly cheesy in my opinion - still great value.
by on June 9th, 2015

This was one of the best nights I've had in a long time. I cried with laughter and the finale was just, well... ridiculous! I urge anyone and everyone to go along, enjoy the comedy, the delicious pizzas at half price and the incredible G&Ts from the bar!
by on June 5th, 2015

We had a great night! The four. Thieves is a really cool pub with brewery fresh beer, good atmosphere, great comedians, we laughed loads... And it only cost £7. Would definitely go again!!
by on May 15th, 2015

I went to Laugh Train Home last night and I had a fantastic time. It is one of my favourite things to do and last night was once again so.much fun. A great night of comedy where every act delivered. The night was fun and well organised and the host was a massive part of why the night was so good. The venue has a great vibe and this really helps lift the night. I go to a lot of comedy and this is easily my favourite night in South London and one of the best in all of London. You should check it out for sure. It is well worth the money.
by on May 14th, 2015

This comedy night is fantastic and I'd really recommend it to everyone! I first went back in January and have become a bit of regular, having been to about 7 shows now. It's a great way to see up and coming new talent, complimented by at least one experienced and usually recognisable performer at the end. It's hosted by Robyn and Matt who are both super friendly and have made my friends and I feel so welcome every time. Well worth the ticket price - great for dates!
by on May 12th, 2015

Having been to the South Bank two weeks ago and seen for the first time a comedian called Inder Manocha who I thought was rib tickling funny I saw he was book at The Four Thieves I booked some tickets only a week in advanced.Unfortuneatly not only was he not in the show but other than a Canadian comedian the rest including the star turn who made me dizzy as he continually walked across the stage in a vane attempt to be funny were pathetic. Unless the Four Thieves can guarantee the acts advertised there is no way that I would bother to return. Geoff

I can assure you that this is not a common occurrence from us, you only have to see the remaining positive feedback and high number of continuously old out shows that pay testament to this. We pride ourselves on delivering the absolute best of comedy acts on the circuit which include many names from the world of celebrity and TV. Unfortunately as is the nature often with comedy, on occasion circumstances completely beyond our control mean that performers become unavailable last minute and need to be replaced. We maintain as high a standard and calibre for all acts that go in to replace drop outs however we understand the frustration caused by people buying tickets for specific acts that then are forced to cancel due to personal or TV commitments. We do put on our web, flyer and social media a warning that this does very occasionally happen and is always beyond our control. I hope that the experience didn’t put you off entirely and would relish the opportunity to prove to you that the comedy we love is as good as you would see at bigger clubs in London but for a fraction of the price. Please get in touch with us at so that we can furnish you with some replacement tickets should you so wish. All the best, The Four Thieves and the Laugh Train Home Team

Really cosy venue with proper quality acts. I was expecting the half funny and half meh, but got double funny. Had to rest cheeks after. Top show with a lot of new, yet brilliant acts.

Holly Walsh for a fiver! - the support acts were brilliant as well. The pub brews it's own beer on site, and has a very large covered beer garden with sofa's etc. superb night out

Excellent night, all comedians were funny, and £5 is so cheap for the quality of acts! Great atmosphere too with all the seats filled, which was great for a mid week gig.

Excellent location and atmosphere. The MC engaged with the audience and the event was well organised. All four comedians were different but all great! Lasted about two hours. Highly recommend it: accessible, affordable and fun!

Comedy night at the four thieves is the perfect night out. If you're looking for a fun mid week date would highly recommend it. Only 5 quid a ticket you cent go wrong and with 4 comedians you're guaranteed to have a lot of laughs. A nice small venue so it feels like an intimate show, but don't worry they don't pick on the front row too badly!

The Four Thieves is a nifty little venue - it's tucked just off the main road as short walk from Clapham Junction, has a good atmosphere, and they make their own beer and liquor on-premises! I didn't try the food, but their beer was quite good. The important thing, however, is the comedy, which is set in a large room with plenty of chairs (and a few tables for those with food). There were four acts, all very different in style, so there was humor for everyone. Russell Hicks, one of the headliners, was absolutely amazing! For £5, this was one of the best nights I've had in ages. Bottom line - I plan on attending every week I can. It's well worth giving a try.
