Halloween is coming early to London Cocktail Week with the Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey screening of Richard Kelly's sci-fi horror cult classic DONNIE DARKO. One of the 21st century’s first horror classics and the movie that launched Jake Gyllenhaal’s career.
In this psychological sci-fi thriller, Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Donnie Darko, a troubled teenager, who is told the world will end in 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes and 12 seconds by Frank, a mysterious figure in a rabbit costume. As the day for the end of the world approaches, he attempts to learn more about his sleepwalking and hallucinations, whilst Frank manipulates him into committing a series of crimes.
If you missed it on the big screen back in 2001 you can now watch in style at TT Liquor’s boutique cinema, tucked away behind their hard-to-find liquor store.
Get a Dead Rabbit cocktail in hand while you watch the movie and afterwards, you’ll be invited down to the Cellar Bar, where you can have a drink and chew over the film to your heart’s content.
