Skylight Peckham

Now Open

This summer is gearing up to be the season of the rooftop bar and Skylight is ready to ride that wave. Already a mainstay over at Tobacco Dock, the croquet-loving team are heading to Peckham Hill with a brand new venue. Setting up shop on the top floor of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, the massive space will be open every day of the week and have room for 250 people.

Joining the ranks of Forza Wine, The Bussey Building, and the Insta-famous Frank's, the Peckham newbie will certainly be a haven for alfresco drinks, with indoor and outdoor spaces, leafy touches and drop lighting. Not only can you expect panoramic views out over London, but also cocktails, brunch and small plates. Head out to the wraparound terrace for dishes like burrata with 'nduja on sourdough, and roasted poussin with chicken fat mash and truffle.

Thirsty? Take your pick from specials including a Cinco Picante with homemade chilli liqueur and peach, or the South London iced tea, which tweaks the original classic with notes of brandy and cranberry juice. As if that wasn't enough, there's set to be live DJs and gigs too. South of the river never looked so good.
