The Benoit Viellefon Hot Club has become a firm favourite at the most elegant places around the country. The line up and orchestrations are inspired by the hot swinging music that emerged from the infamous Parisian Cafes and nightclubs of the 1920s & ‘30s.
What a better occasion than to launch their new album for the 6th anniversary of the Candlelight Club?
Benoit has been selling out at this infamous club since day 1, always getting crowd going from the minute he sets the foot on stage with his iconic "Ladies and Gentlemen, Can you hear me?".
The saturday 7th event has sold out within a couple of days, please don't wait too long to get your tickets for the Friday 6th, the venue has a limited capacity.
Benoit Viellefon Hot Club will be launching their new album, Paris 19:26 ● London 20:16, at this very party. Two lucky guests, drawn at random, will win copies of the CD.

The Hot Club’s performances celebrates the burning excitement of those hot gypsy swing numbers made famous by Django Reinhardt, together with the romanticism of the finest French numbers. With a nod to the American jazz virtuosi who visited Paris, such as Louis Armstrong and Sidney Bechet, the Hot Club features both clarinet and trumpet alongside the timeless two-guitars and double bass lineup. But they are also often true to the original "Hot Quintet De France" Django Reinhardt & Grapelli line up, with the addition of a virtuoso Violin player.

A clandestine 1920s speakeasy party in a secret London venue completely lit by candles, with live jazz bands, cabaret and retro-DJs. The bar dispenses vintage cocktails and the kitchens offer a fine-dining set menu and bar snacks.
This is a special 7th birthday celebration: yes, for seven years the Candlelight Club has been keeping you in illicit hooch and foot-stomping jazz! Come and celebrate at our birthday party, presided over as ever by lord of cabaret misrule Champagne Charlie, with DJ Auntie Maureen spinning vintage platters.
Guests receive an email two days before revealing the secret location and are encouraged to dress in 1920s outfits—so pull on your flapper dress and get ready to Charleston.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
