What they say:

Hugo Heathcote and Deji Carr, part of the team behind LoveBrunch and ETA have finally found a permanent spot for their latest creative endeavour, and have taken over the sorely missed Cherryjam in Notting Hill. Shimmy is a new North London bar and club with late night opening hours that plays host to a diverse set of DJs and live music acts from across the UK. Taiwanese style sliders (gao bao) will be served behind the bar to keep London party-goers on their feet, as will 'healthy cocktails', mixed by Hawksmooor's Metinee (May) Kongsrivilai who is also the UK ambassador to Bacardi.

What we say:

At last, a music-led venue in Notting Hill - we welcome you with open arms, as we would any collaboration between Heathcote and Carr, part of the creative and musical them behind the ever popular LoveBrunch and ETA. Shimmy is a late night party spot with wonderfully eclectic decor and naughty little additions to get you excited - vintage porn covers the walls and peep holes have been inserted into the doors of the lavatories - how very cheeky! 'Healthy Cocktails' are mixed by the UK Bacardi ambassador and Taiwanese inspired street food is served behind the bar. What more could you want from a West London bar and club?
