downstairs  Sessions -We gladly welcome you to our fifth edition of Sessions at the Horse & Groom to start the year 2016 in beauty! For this, only the residents will be playing for a little reunion. We can't wait to all have you back at the bar!

REda daRE, upcoming DJ and producer from Paris has already released on Little Helpers, ( djebali ) pres. and is the owner of Signatune Records. After spinning with great talents such as Djebali, Greg Brockmann and Phil Weeks and his surrounding of various melodious sounds since childhood, he was able to form his own musical style, which is definitely worth hearing.

Josh Rawl, originally from France grew up in Hong Kong. After spending a significant time in Asia and DJing here and there, he moved to London for his studies. He started collecting vinyl records and looking for new, deep and different music. Since then, he became a resident at Number 90 and for Release/Sustain, and has played along amazing artists such as Djebali, Andres Zacco and Unai Trotti.

Massaï, also from Paris, France. As a big music lover, he also moved to London and started DJing and collecting records. His passion pushed him to progress and embrace its local culture, thus making him a resident at Number 90 alongside Josh, with whom he essentially plays B2B with. He also has spinned alongside the same great artists.

Upstairs- Home HOME. is back for the new year so dust off those NYE hangovers and join the party. This time Toolroom and Glasgow Underground DJ Brett Gould will be headlining with the boys from Sonidos.

BRETT GOULD:

Born and raised in East London, everything about Brett Gould’s career so far has been about a slow development of his sound. From his debut single ‘Premonition’ on Low Bit Records, Brett’s music has been pricking up ears on a remarkably regular basis. So much so, that releases have swiftly followed on the likes of Toolroom, Glasgow Underground and OFF Recordings to date, with ‘Rhythm Drop’ reaching number 12 in the Beatport Tech House Charts, and DJ support coming from the likes of Rob da Bank, Monki (BBC Radio1,) Josh Butler, Waifs and Strays, Sasha and Doctor Dru.

Further releases have seen him gain support from B.Traits, Lee Foss, Groove Armada, Steve Lawler, Tensnake & Low Steppa which in turn has seen him appear on the same bills as Sasha, Mark Knight, Denney, Raffa FL, Sam Divine, Franky Rizzardo, Eskuche & Nu Sky, Mike Vale, and Mark Fancuilli.

Remix wise, Brett has also recently started to make a name for himself with his re-work of Kevin McKay’s ‘Club Trax’ on OFF Recordings, which reached Top 20 in the Beatport Deep House Chart, and his remix of Grum’s ‘In Love’ doing the same on Trice/Armada Recordings. His Remix Of Illyus & Barrientos 'Need Me' being the stand out remix so far.

Brett has been regularly playing his original brand of funky tech & deep house on the uk circuit as well as holding down residencies at some of the best club nights in London.

With releases coming up on Definition:Music, Simma Black, Material & InCorrect Music amongst futher Glasgow Underground releases and remixes, it is fair to say that Brett Gould looks set to make 2016 his year.
