Discovery Get Down Sessions-  After amazing party vibes at the last bash the gang return on Friday 11th May for another 'Get Down @ The orinal disco pub The ' Horse & Groom with Neil Thornton. Jason Bakal & Paolo T. Desbies playing house, disco electronic indie dance, rediscovered Italo gems it is all about party music always aimed at the dance floor.  The Discovery parties have been headstrong for 6 years and have seen acclaimed guests such as Tornado Wallace, Mark E, Pete Herbert, Dicky Trisco, I:Cube, Andy Blake, Eric Duncan, Rahaan, Justin Vandervolgen, Young Marco, Baby G, Loud E, The Revenge and many more joining them in the DJ Booth. The party ethos is simple; bringing the party to the party, where the guys and girls on the dance floor have as much fun as their guests who join them in the DJ booth; thus providing a magical carpet ride throughout the evening with Neil Thornton, Jay Bacall  & Paolo T. Desbies

upstairs - East Project is back!!! Since hosting our last event in April 2016 we have been focusing more on the label and with our beatport success due to our hard work and support we are now coming back into the london music events scene hosting a showcase for artists that have released on our label and friends.We host the event at our beloved intimate london space Horse & Groom that has been perfect for us down the years.
We are delighted to have Lindsey Matthews not only release unique and beautiful music on our label but headlining our label showcase. An artist that is growing by the year and has played at venues such as Village Underground, Sankeys Ibiza, Studio 338, Printworks & more. Performing for events such as Dawn, Abode and Solo Danza. Expect raw and minimal sounds to tickle your fancy with an added personal edge.
 We also have the pleasure of Ben Sterling playing for us. Ben has been working hard on his sound and it hasn't gone unrecognised, he has an ep released on Josh Butlers imprint ORIGINS REC, a super remix for us on Tom Laidlaw's Junkin track, Shanghaied releases and more to come. He is definitely a star for the future being a Data transmission resident and having support from Jamie Jones, Josh Butler, Richy Ahmed, Max Chapman & many more. He has also played at venues such as Damyns hall aerodrome (We are Fstvl), The Garden, Tisno (Defected Croatia), Edge Nightclub, luton, Xoyo & more. Expect a unique sound that sits inbetween house and techno from Ben!

 Birmingham's up and coming star Billy Rath will also be joining us after his super Cuerno EP that has been picking up pace across the beatport minimal / deep tech beatport charts. founder of Habits records, he has been working hard behind the scenes to fine tune his sound and perfect it. He has played many sets at the likes of Rainbow Venues, Sankeys Ibiza and Lightbox where he’s been testing out his new material. His sound has always been inspired by the likes of Jamie jones however, during recent times he has taken his sound to a more minimal dubbed sound where he focuses on the raw groove of a track.

 James Cox also joins in with the fun. James is a new up and coming artist that is involved with the Habits team as a resident from Birmingham. He has been working hard on his production for 9 years focusing on minimal house and techno. Gaining recognition from promoters all over the midlands and music related. He has played at events such as Portal, Carnival magnifico, Habits (lightbox and birmingham) and also playing at this years We Are Fstvl for Habits. We are very excited to see what he brings to the night.

 Our recently added member to the team LA SAM (A&R) returns to Horse & Groom where he had his first gig for East Project in 2013. Since then he has recently featured on the latest EP from Billy Rath with his "Cuerno" remix that has had support from Anor, Wax Worx & Detlef. He is from Essex and has played at venues such as Kalypso (Croatia) Egg, Ministry of Sound, 93 Feet East, Troxy Studio 338 (Garden) & Source bar. On a production side Sam has released on Shanghaied, Data Transmission Radio, Maintain Replay, Kritical Inc and of course East Project. He will be bringing a unique twist to tech house with a melodic vibe.

 Rough Cut are Adam Gill (Co-Founder of East Project) and Brendan Maguire. They have been inspired since the 90's playing all over Essex and Central London while also previously having a residency with a pirate radio station named Force Fm. When house music turned filthier and the sick electro sound became dominant, in 2005 they ventured into club night promotion, running the nights Citybeats and Friday Night Dirt at the infamous The Key and Pacha, and held a monthly residency at the legendary (and sorely missed) Turnmills.In 2010 they set up East Project - and they haven't looked back since. With a big 2018 ahead and releases so far on King Street Sounds, Dog Records, Kiez Beats, Sleazy Deep. Plus on there own label East Project and coming soon EP on Runnin Wild. Expect Deep and funky basslines from these two!

 Last but not least by no means we have the honour of giving Josh Ramadan his first ever set. From the same area as LA SAM in Essex the East Project team have been really impressed by his passion and mixes that he has posted taking listeners through a journey of tech house and techno. With his work ethic we believe he has a bright future and something positive to give to our event and industry itself. He will be bringing a nice mixture of house to the table for us
