Decks and The City – 22.12.17 – Christmas Party
Well the office parties have started, the jingles can be heard in every shop and the mince pies are being consumed. Yes, Christmas is coming and by popular demand we are going to host a DATC Christmas special on 22 December to get your festivities off with a bang.
To get you well and truly in the party mood, three of our stalwarts who have taken 2017 by storm will return to join Ali on the turntables. So get the stockings by the fire, wrap the presents and put them under the tree and head down for the last Friday night before you feast on your turkey. To add to the fun Ali will be spinning in his Santa hat. See you there.

Greg has had a passion for music since an early age and bought his first dance record in 1991. It wasn't until 2001 that he bought his decks and got into the dj scene. After winning a dj competition in 2002 he went on to play clubs and bars around London, as well as being invited to play at parties in Amsterdam and Australia. He works in finance for a global FMCG company looking after IT investment. Numbers by day, beats by night, Greg has a broad taste in music but favours playing tracks that simply want to get you moving on the dance floor and put a smile on your face!

He found House music as he explored music styles through college and university. Starting with faster DnB before mellowing down to find a groovier speed around 120bpm, he picked up some decks and has been collecting records ever since. He works as a Business Analyst at a major UK bank in the change delivery function. This involves managing the delivery of Clearing Projects.

Matthew works as a Project Change Manager for a professional services firm specialising in management and HR consulting and insurance broking. He discovered DJing at his local Indie night at university, before developing a passion for all types of electronic music. His usual sets comprise of deep and tech house, but he can't wait to perform a special house/nu-disco debut set for “Decks & the City”!
