We enjoyed the night, but it was different from what we had imagined. Biggest ‘issue’ was too much other music being played, instead of Disney. We did really like Massaoke, but same story. Linda visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017

Good night overall, liked the photobooth, however more Disney songs needed to be played and there was way too many people in the venue to make it enjoyable. Couldn't even get to the bar to get a drink and the amount of pushing was ridiculous. No organiszation queueing for the cloakroom either was a free for all as bingo was coming out and everyone for Hakuna Matata going in. Club also needs a good clean up. visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017

Having been to Hakuna Matata previously this year I was MORE THAN EXCITED to have another night at The Grand. While it was a good night, I felt that the DJ focused on too many current Pop/Chart tracks and not as many 80’s and Power Ballads leaving me short of many air-grabs and not able to thoroughly use my well mastered air-guitar techniques. :( I have to say though the band for Massaoke (sp?) was immense! They along with the stage dancers made the night grand! Thanks! That saying, I’ll be sure to attend again another time I reckon :) Corina visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017

I have been to one other Clapham grand night (the Jurassic part night) and that was a lot less crowded which made it more fun in my eyes and people made more effort to dress up. The Disney night was a bit of a dissapointment mostly because it felt like it had been completely oversold ! Just getting off the dance floor to take some fresh air took serious night. Also it couldn’t have felt more like a student night, we were probably the oldest people there bar a couple of older gentlemen and we are only in late twenties. For reasons of health I can’t drink so ordered a Diet Coke and it tasted absolutely vile, pretty sure they haven’t cleaned their lines in a very long time and they’ve got the syrup to side water ratio as cheap as they can make it ! Masioke was good, sound quality was very poor though. Dancers were better this time around but the slim blonde woman who does dancing acts more like a stripper, constantly poking her her tongue out it’s just not great when a lot of the audience are female . Used the bathrooms once and wouldn’t rush as they are too small for a large club setting, the toilet lady withholds the hand drying tissues and expects a tip when she gives it to you ! Two male bouncers were incredibly rude to me and pushed me out of line for a genuine mistake on my part, luckily a female bouncer who was nice and smart let me in otherwise was expected to I presume go the hour home to get my ID 🤔 (first and last time I’ll ever forget it but for Christ’s sakes I’m married covered in tattoos and as much as I’d like to look 18 again I damn sure do not) I’d go again but I’d probably take some sort of costume that doubles as a bulldozer to get through the crowds of people who literally stand in your way and bash into you because they are ‘dancing’ visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017

Emailed venue with a query, got no answer. Paid extra for queue jump tickets; waited 30+ minutes to get in. Massaoke - the highlight - were barely given any stage time, and the dancers that tried to upstage them were laughable. Massive disappointment. Yaz visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017

Really fun event and would recommend to anyone who loves Disney but also people who just like to have fun. I loved the dancers because they just had so much energy and it felt like we were at a show as well as being at a club. visited The Grand on 20 Oct 2017
