There's a huge night of stand-up comedy in store at the Clapham Grand this Australia Day, as the Comedy Carnival rolls in to town for another evening of side-splitting hilarity.
This Comedy Carnival show has showcased many esteemed Australian comedians - like Adam Hills, Jim Jefferies, Steve Hughes - in the ten years since its inception, and it's back to bring you another glut of the finest comics from down under. The first act isn't called Big Colin Cole for nothing you know, towering at 6'7'' tall (talk about a big stage presence), this Syndey-born act's classic observational comedy has had audiences chuckling from all corners of the globe. Next comes Brisbane's Benny Boot, whose sharp one-liners and solid punchlines are helping him to carve out quite the reputation in comic circles, before proceedings are wrapped up by the multiple award winning act Felicity Ward, a comedian whose CV features appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and on Russell Howard's Good News.
The evening will be kept flowing by MC Pete Jonas, who is best recognised for his satirical Brokeback Britain show.
Advanced Tickets are priced at £15, and include entry to the Triple J Hottest 100 club night which gets under way at 10pm.
