Really interactive screening of Love Actually, where everyone got involved. Great atmosphere, including the after party which included good music. Karmee visited The Grand on 16 Dec 2016

The queue looked really long but went down quick enough. Shot of something mixed on arrival. You then have to scavenge for a half decent seat - with no seating allocation or staff to help you get an idea of what arrangements are in place, a lot of people were left to sit on the floor, on stairs or standing. The popcorn is £1 and free refills... but you'll need about 20 because the bags are so tiny. Bar staff were quick and efficient. Half time show wasn't that entertaining and could have done without - just rather watch the film - well, the half I could see since it was blocked by other peeps sitting on high stalls at the front. Needs more organisation and clarity. We didn't even know where to get the food until we literally scouted it out. Jorja visited The Grand on 16 Dec 2016

Great atmosphere, so much fun. Would recommend the organisers to put subtitles on (or audio louder), as sometimes there can be a lot of noise. Justine visited The Grand on 16 Dec 2016

This was the second time I went to one of the £1 Cinema Club events and both times it was a lot of fun. We sat downstairs so the bar and the popcorn stalls are right there and could see the screen fine even if it was quite busy. The atmosphere is always great and the staff is also really nice. It's not like a regular cinema so people may talk during the film but I would say the chilled atmosphere is part of the experience. Definitely great value for money. Very good for the price we paid. However the bar selling food was downstairs which was a bit of a pain as we were sat upstairs. The chairs were really uncomfortable and your view is restricted due to the barriers. A lot people spoke through the film which made it hard to hear at times. However I would go again. First time to the £1 cinema club and loved it! Fab atmosphere & great vibe. Didn't know what to expect but was happy to see an amazing live singer participate in a quiz and get papped in the photo booth! Will definitely recommend and go again! Leann visited The Grand on 16 Dec 2016
