Top London Events: London Cocktail Week & AppLounge

Summer is over; all those great parties, sizzling BBQs, refreshing sun downers, festivals and holidays are coming to a close for another year. Fear not, we have found out about a few exciting up-coming events to hit London:

London Cocktail Week 2010 is fast approaching, with some of London's most exclusive members' bar throwing open their doors for you to be dazzled by the world's top mixologists, all of whom will be shaking their drinks and sharing their knowledge. Take the chance to discover one-off bars, like The Reserve Bar at Selfridges, how to make your favourite cocktails, like Cuban Tanqueray & Tonic with Tanqueray 10 and, the all important tastings. London is world-renowned for its exquisite cocktail making, so go sample the best on offer and you may also get a chance to visit the exclusive London bars and clubs that are normally reserved for lottery winners only!

Some of the highlights include:

1) Bols Genever Party at Hix

2) Don Julio luxury drop events being hosted at secret nightclub and bar locations, where you can sample the finest Tequila

3) Tiki cocktail parties at Trailer Happiness and Barrio Central

Or how about finishing your working day off with a cocktail and a classic film at the Jameson Cult Film Club?

London Cocktail week runs from October 11th - 17th 2010 and is jam packed with events, so check out their website here to get the full details.

Another must in our calendar is The AppLounge at the stylish Soho bar, Meza. The AppLounge pilots a new type of digital lifestyle showroom where you can discover the latest and coolest mobile applications and digital content all ready for you to play around with. It will definitely be something fun to do as an alternative to your normal mid-week drinks. There will be tasty cocktails (and coffee) available and it's a pop-along pop-up event so get yourself down there. For more details click here The AppLounge.

That's all for now but I will be posting more exciting London events and treats soon to help you get over the Autumn blues!
