The Pie Room is elevating the classic British dish
In England, pie is everywhere. In fact, there are few dishes more unapologetically British. But have you ever been somewhere where pie is the menu?
That's exactly the idea behind The Pie Room, a dedicated pastry kitchen made for anyone who believes the humble savoury pie deserves its place at the fine-dining table. And to make the whole thing even better, they're also serving some of the city's best pies straight from their takeaway window, The Pie Hole.
What Is The Pie Room?
Tucked inside Holborn Dining Room at the Rosewood London, The Pie Room is a working pastry kitchen by day and one of London's most intimate private dining experiences by night. A team of pastry experts craft handmade pies, sausage rolls, and savoury goodies from scratch, all within a stunning Victorian-era setting.
What Is The Private Dining Experience?
Guests are welcomed directly into the kitchen for a counter-seated, bespoke menu of seasonal pies and pastry-led dishes, served right from the oven. Designed for small gatherings and celebrations, the room seats up to ten and feels perfectly private.
What Is The Pie Hole In Holborn?
The Pie Hole is the daytime takeaway window where the same expertly made pastries are available to everyone. Every pie is handcrafted fresh in the morning, with chefs serving up to 200 pies a day. Pies start at £12 and feature classic flavours like chicken and mushroom or cheddar and potato. You are welcome to walk in on the day or pre-order online to guarantee your pick.
