With festival season gaining on us yet again, we're rounding up some of the city's finest, from funk and soul day parties and multi-venue sensations to weekend-long carnivals fronting A-list lineups that you simply can't miss.

1. All Points East

  • Location: Victoria Park
  • When: 21st, 22nd, 23rd 28th, and 30th of August 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Tyler, The Creator, Turnstile, Wunderhorse, Lorde

East London's favourite is returning to Victoria Park this August for two whole weekends. The lineup of All Points East offers a stellar selection of chart-topping artists (who have a few Brits under their belt, no less) and electronic music moguls in the form of Pinkpantheress, 2Hollis, and more.

Get ready for performances from the likes of Jorja Smith, Lorde, Tyler, the Creator, and more at one of the best London music festivals in 2026. You'll also be able to enjoy cold pints and G&Ts in the (hopefully) sun, alongside a selection of street food eats.

This Victoria Park music festival is going to be bigger and better than ever.

2. Waterworks Festival

  • Location: Gunnersbury Park
  • When: 12th and 13th of September 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Ross from Friends, Bradley Zero & Erol Alkan, Super & Objekt

Celebrating electronic music culture and independent artists, Waterworks is going to be one of the top festivals this city has to offer. It will be small but mighty, seeing out summer's balmy days with one helluva shindig.

As for the artists? Expect Ross from Friends, Super & Objekt, Daniel Avery, Skee Mask, and more to be taking to the decks on stages throughout the day 'til 11pm.

3. Mighty Hoopla

  • When: 30th and 31st of May 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Lily Allen, Agnes, Scissor Sisters, Perrie, Cascada

Mighty Hoopla is returning with a star-studded lineup that includes Sisscor Sisters, Cascada, Josie Harsh, Empress Of, and Lily Allen. 

If you're looking for pop stars, drag acts and outrageous outfits, then this is the festival for you. But the weekend is about so much more than just the main stage, so get exploring those tents if you want to find comedy and quirky bingo events.

4. Kaleidoscope Festival

  • Where: Alexandra Palace Park 
  • When: 11th of July 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Rudimental, Groove Armada, MJ Cole

Set against the backdrop of the iconic Alexandra Palace, Kaleidoscope Festival is one for those who like their events chilled, interesting and family-friendly.

Whether you're getting down to Rudimental or MJ Cole on the main stage and Groove Armada or DJ Paulette on Cloud 10, giggling in the comedy tent or checking out cabaret, this quirky carnival is offering something for every kind of reveller.

Kaleidoscope is bringing a celebration of music and arts to Alexandra Palace.

5. BST Hyde Park 

  • Where: Hyde Park
  • When: 27th of June and 3rd, 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th and 12th of July 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Holly Humberstone, Conan Gray

Taking over the largest green space in Central London throughout the summer is BST Hyde Park, a festival series that never misses on bringing A-list talent to the big stage.

Since starting in 2013, the event has seen the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Blackpink perform in front of thousands of revellers. This year is no different, as Lewis Capaldi, Conan Gray, Jacob Alon, Mumford and Sons, and the one and only Duran Duran prepare to put on a show.

6. Hospital30 Block Party

  • Location: Hackney Wick
  • When: 1st August 2026
  • Lineup highlights: P Money, Flava D, High Contrast

A brand-new festival is heading to London on Saturday the 1st of August, as part of Hospital Records' series of events celebrating their 30th birthday. Renowned for working with the biggest drum & bass names, the label's Hospital30 Block Party will be an open-meets-indoor concept across Hackney Wick, spanning both sides of the canal with six incredible stages. Think intimate club rooms and a huge outdoor stage.

On the lineup you'll find some of the scene's most influential D&B artists, from P Money and Whiney to High Contrast, Flava D and more. There will also be chill-out areas for when you need a breather, with a street food and drinks court from Hackney Bride. Oh, and did we mention tickets are capped at £40? For such an incredible, bass-heavy lineup in one of London's coolest neighbourhoods, that's a bit of a bargain if you ask us.

7. Somerset House Summer Series

  • Location: Somerset House
  • When: 16th to the 26th of July 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Naïka, Black Country, New Road, The Flaming Lips

Running in partnership with American Express, Somerset House Summer Series has made a name for itself by hosting a series of concerts within its neoclassical courtyard.

They combine an intimate capacity with extravagant lineups, putting on some of the best acts from across the globe. This year sees the likes of Naïka, The Cribs, and Black Country, New Road take to the stage.

8. Cross The Tracks 

  • Location: Brockwell Park
  • When: 24th of May 2028
  • Lineup highlights: Little Simz, Joy Crooks, Brooke Combe

Swapping distorted guitars and cascading synths for the city's top jazz, funk and soul festival on the second day of the long weekend, Brockwell Park hosts Cross The Tracks.

Across nine stages, there'll be a diverse lineup of talent from Little Simz and Joy Crookes, plus over 70 street food vendors and plenty of craft beer. Browse handmade jewellery stalls, attend thought-provoking panel talks led by charities and more at this day festival.

9. LIDO Festival & Outbreak Fest

  • Location: Victoria Park 
  • When: 23rd and 31st August 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Maribou State, Deftones

LIDO Festival is coming to Victoria Park for some incredible music, creativity, and community spirit. Moving from June to August, this fan-first festival brings together globally loved artists and emerging talent, all while championing sustainability and giving back to East London. 

The lineup is nothing short of spectacular - think Maribou State and Kelis, with Outbreak Fest shaking things up on the 23rd of August too, featuring Deftones, Idles, Amyl and the Sniffers, Interpool, and Eseekid.

10. Field Day 

  • Location: Brockwell Park
  • When: 23rd of May 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Floating Points, Joy Orbison, Honey Dijon, FOLD

The pulse of London’s underground music scene is shifting as Field Day 2026 in Brockwell Park takes place alongside a thriving hub of festivals dedicated to music, culture, and creativity.

Now, in its 19th year, the festival continues to shape musical trends, bringing together diverse audiences and an eclectic lineup that champions both rising stars and iconic headliners. Leading the charge for this year are Floating Points, Honey Dijon, nimino, Swimming Paul, sim0ne, and Joy Orbison.

11. Festival Republic At Finsbury Park 

  • Location: Finsbury Park
  • When: 3rd - 5th July 
  • Lineup highlights: Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Wolf Alice

Festival Republic is bringing a killer lineup of acts to Finsbury Park yet again. Expect epic singalongs, a racous crowd and some of the best indie bangers from the past 20 years. 

Across three summer nights, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian and Wolf Alice will take to the stage with incredible support from the likes of Razorlight, The Last Dinner Party, Miles Kane, Lykke Li and many more. 

12. Harry Styles' Meltdown Festival

  • Location: Southbank Centre
  • When: 11th-21st June 
  • Lineup highlights: Harry Styles, Mulatu Astatke, Kamasi Washington

This year's Meltdown Festival is being curated by the one and only Harry Styles. It takes place across the Southbank Centre's multiple venues, with performances happening across a 10-day period. You can buy tickets to each individual show, with each artist chosen by Harry himself.

The lineup includes names like Kamasi Washington, Jon Hopkins, Erika de Casier and mny more. Of course, there will also be a headline show from Harry Styles, but the date of this is yet to be announced.

13. Festival Republic At Crystal Palace Park

  • Location: Crystal Palace Park
  • When: 26th - 28th June 
  • Lineup highlights: Two Door Cinema Club, Kneecap, The Offspring 

Crystal Palace Park is set for another summer of banging gigs thanks to the gang at Festival Republic. This year, they're bringing indie cool kids Two Door Cinema Club, the punchy and provocative Kneecap, and pop punk legends to the stage across three incredible nights.

The support acts are just as legendary, with The Vaccines, Fat Dog, Dropkick Murphys and many more joining the fun over the weekend. They'll also be hosting the one and only Lenny Kravitz with support from Leon Thomas, Joss Stone, Brooke Combe, and De'Wayne, and throwing it back to the 90s with Jimmy Eat World.

14. Hush

  • Location: Central Park, E6
  • When: 29th July - 2nd August 
  • Lineup highlights: Vieux Farka Touré, This is the Kit, Cate Le Bon

The antidote to London's packed and hectic summer festival schedule, Hush is the brainchild of musician, producer and former Cocteau Twins member Simon Raymonde. It's doing away with sponsorship, VIP zones and standing crowds and embracing stripped back performances, talks on awareness and meditation, and a series of brunches built around slow food and music.

Supporting headliners Vieux Farka Touré, This is the Kit and Cate Le Bon over the weekend are the likes of SOHN, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Ashley Henry and many more magical acts.
