What Is Model Market?

Model Market is a street food market on the edge of Lewisham Shopping Centre with roots going back to the 1950s, when it was a general trading spot. It relaunched as a street food destination in 2014 and quickly became a favourite in London, featuring independent traders, a great outdoor atmosphere, and a crowd that really supported it. Sadly, it was closed in 2021. 

When Is Model Market Reopening?

There's no confirmed date yet, but Model Market is set to reopen by late summer 2026. 

This time around, it will be run by German Kraft, the brewery at Mercato Metropolitano in Elephant and Castle. 

What's New At Model Market?

Model Market will be getting a proper makeover. While details are still being ironed out, you can expect:
