The inaugural NYC loves LDN event will be held at Shoreditchs hottest new venue XOYO on Thursday 2nd December. The intimate 300 capacity room will play host to a selection of the finest bands & emerging talent from the two musical hotspots on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Curated by Skully from the multi-platinum act Razorlight.
Born and bred in Brooklyn, Skully has been involved in established NYC acts such as Men, Women and Children and The Reunion Show. Now as a seasoned Londoner, he is abreast with the indie-talents currently plying their trade on the circuit. As such, he is perfectly placed to cherry-pick the finest bands for your aural consumption.
Confirmed line-up for the night is to include none other than Johnny Borrell performing exclusive new Razorlight material from their forthcoming album, London based The Riff Raff who are fresh back from causing a media storm at this years CMJ Music Marathon, New Yorks Penguin Prison who have just been signed to prestigious label Wall of Sound, along with support from current industry buzz band Ice Black Birds. The night will also feature a DJ set from Nick Hook from Brooklyn band Cubic Zirconia.
