Eis Haus sends shivers through London with festive vibes & hand-carved ice features

Eis Haus, Tower of London

From the shot glasses to the doorways and the bar itself, every feature at Eis Haus is made completely of clear ice.

Sitting calmly at a teeth-chattering -5ºC, the Tower of London plays host to Eis Haus this festive period, undoubtedly one of the city's coolest spots. The entire bar has been created using 10 tonnes of purified crystal ice, and will serve complimentary vodka shots and non-alcoholic frozen ice pops to its guests. Only a stone's throw from the Tower of London's ever-popular ice rink, the venue will draw in guests with its stunning sculptures and intriguing design features.

Every aspect of Eis Haus has been carefully thought out and meticulously planned. A talented team of ice artist hand-carved each surface, corner and detail of the bar, from the ice cups holding the drink to the huge lion sculptures that welcome guests at the entrance. After 6 PM, the glistening venue comes to life, when a line-up of resident DJs take control of the reins and play a blend of festive, dance and hip hop tracks. And making things truly memorable, guests will be able to have their picture taken on the unsettling Ice Throne.

The Eis Haus pop-up bar is open from the 1st December 2016 until the 3rd January 2017 at the Tower of London, EC3N 4AB. Open 7 days a week, the festivities will begin each day from 11 AM, concluding at 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 10 PM on all other days.
