Sir David Attenborough will continue narrating the immersive experience at the Natural History Museum.

A brand-new immersive experience launched at the Natural History Museum this June, presented by national treasure and all-round hero to many, Sir David Attenborough, and today we've learnt that its run is being extended - giving you another chance to visit. 

The experience was the first of its kind for the museum, as it showcases a host of projections, 360-degree immersion and real-world footage. Here's everything you need to know about Our Story with David Attenborough at The Natural History Museum.

What Is Our Story With David Attenborough?

This extended feature at the Natural History Museum, led by the Planet Earth narrator, uses state-of-the-art cinematic projection technology combined with real-life footage of the planet to bring the experience to life. Here's what to expect:

  • A 50-minute sitting carefully curated by award-winning production team, Open Planet Studios
  • A 360-degree immersive experience that's the first of its kind for the museum
  • A narration by David Attenborough, reflecting on his near-century-long experience in the industry, where he will share his insight on and hopes for the planet
  • An accompanying soundtrack to the experience; a breathtaking original score by Tony and Olivier Award-nominated composer, Nick Powell
  • Information on the human impact on sea life, such as the great whales, as well as our relationship with primates
