Believe it or not, The Berkeley opened as a coffee house around 300 years ago. Now, it's one of the most famous hotels in London. Some of the most famous A-listers have stayed here, including pop sensation Madonna, and supermodel Kate Moss.

What Is Capri In The City?
Yes, you read that right. The Berkeley's rooftop bar is opening to the public, where you'll be able to book an al fresco table throughout the summer months. The seasonal opening, branded as 'Capri in the City', channels Italy's drinking and dining scene.
Sit back and relax at the beach club-esque experience, which offers a Riviera-inspired menu, full of incredible sharing platters, a poolside pizza oven, and cocktails like the Capri Negroni, which is crafted with Amalfi lemon and chamomile and fig leaf.
In the true spirit of la dolce vita, the whole experience was also created in collaboration with Italian fragrance house Acqua di Parma.
When Is The Berkeley Rooftop Bar Opening To The Public?
The Berkeley's rooftop bar will open to the public from Friday 1st May 2026 until the end of summer. Members of the public can book a table Wednesday to Sunday, from 7:30pm onward.
Unfortunately, you can't take a dip in their rooftop pool, so don't worry about packing the swimming gear.
