What they say:

The Hyde manages to retain the charm and luxury of the Grade II listed, 19th Century Townhouse The Royal Park Hotel while adding flashes of contemporary to its design, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated interior. Many of the furnishings, from the tables to the bar, are made from old mahogany or rosewood, with plush chairs and sofas surrounding them. The bar serves a selection of freshly prepared small plates, crafted from top quality ingredients, and the cocktail list is composed of mixes created with only high-end spirits.

What we say:

Bringing a luxurious boutique bar into Westminster seems as fitting as slipping on a glass slipper, but that doesn’t mean it’s always done without a hitch. Luckily, The Hyde manages to combine both sophistication with comfort, to create an enjoyable, luxury drinking establishment with plush interiors and commitment to the finest drinks. The grand open fireplace and chic garden terrace add seasonal, fun flourishes to the charming venue. The drinks menu consists of fine wines and bespoke cocktails, including a wonderfully named Death In The Afternoon, made from Champagne and absinthe. Their spirits are of the quality you would expect, with high-end selections like Yamazaki Whiskey and Tessero Extreme Cognac making the list alongside a number of prohibition bourbon items.
