The Windmill International Soho - London Gentlemen's Club Review

Step in to the voluptuous, tasteful club that is the Windmill International and you'll be delving in to the heart of West End history and lap dancing folklore. Not only does this elegant venue display a sense of sophistication, it also delivers so much more than many of the top lap dancing club that London has to offer. A step back to the glory days, you can feel the history; it's all part of the atmosphere.

The Venue

There is a sign outside the Windmill International that boasts Possibly the Best Gentleman's Club In The World.  I know, I know, they all say that right?... As soon as you enter through the doors to a warm welcome at this sultry London landmark, you're greeted with more than you would expect.

I've visited many that claim to be the best, but there are some things that just can not be replicated. There's a warm feeling of originality about the Windmill. You can feel every nuance of every aspect; the stunning girls, the decadence and theatre of the setting, and the feeling of being somewhere different, somewhere original, somewhere where lap dancing was actually born. It really is an oasis of pleasure.

Windmill's warm welcome and decadent setting will put you at ease from the moment you step inside.

The Performers

The Windmill girls are known as London's most stunning table dancers from across the globe. Brazilian, European, Asian... all nationalities are waiting to tantalise your needs.

Myself and two friends were warmly welcomed and served promptly at the crystal glazed bar, right in front of the main stage and viewing area. After we swiftly grabbed our drinks we were offered seats at a table - and all of the tables can be classed as premium - the views are that good. We sat back, relaxed and took in the atmosphere while awaiting the show, the dancing was artful and superb, all the girls in sync with one another, ensuring that not a jot of their performance could be questioned.

There's a feel to the Windmill that I've not experienced elsewhere. You're given total freedom to enjoy yourself in whichever way you like. At no point were we pressured to part with our cash when we didn't want to, we were shown respect and given time and space to decide what took our fancy ourselves. The idea of the Windmill being that, hey, we as dancers don't need to force ourselves upon you (as seems to have become the norm at so many), because you will be in such awe and excitement at our stance, that you shall approach us without hesitation, and they pull it off exquisitely.

Freedom is there to make acquaintances with whichever girl you choose, have a chat, decide for yourself. The girls are skilled at performing, personable and genuine with interaction, as well as professional and respectful.

There's no pressure and plenty of freedom to take the night in whichever direction you choose here.

Summary:

Drinks are reasonably priced for a prime spot in the West End at £6 a beer and £8.50 for a spirit and mixer, with dances available at the widely accepted £20 each, with room for negotiation for anything above this. Perfect for stag-do's or a lads night out in the heart of London's most vibrant neighbourhood, The Windmill International is an original, graceful and delightful lap-dancing club.
