The deco includes a variety of vintage and iconic items including copies of Melody Maker circa 1971, and an original poster for the WHO, alongside a customised confession booth that forms part of the seating arrangement. The piece du resistance, however, is a door from the famous Apple Studios, signed by none other than The Beatles - showcasing The Back Room’s commitment to creating an authentic rock’n’roll ambience.
 
 
But the bar also has the sustenance to match the style. Boasting a great selection of pizzas and an impressive array of adventurously named cocktails, The Back Room offers a complete package that oozes “cool” in charismatic surroundings. Pizza fans and cocktails lovers can enjoy The Back Room all week long, but music aficionados would be well advised to make the establishment a regular haunt on Thursday evenings. Showcasing an eclectic mix of established and new talent, spanning a variety of different genres, these nights are all about letting the good times rock’n’roll.

The Back Room is an unexpected hidden gem of a London bar, certainly so considering its location in Mayfair and its owners. The Back Room is set in the old souvenir shop of the Hard Rock Cafe, tucked away off the glamorous road of Old Park Lane which adds to the charm and secrecy of this London bar. The Hard Rock Cafe have carved out a destination bar, a homage to rock n roll with a cool London edge that makes this worth hunting out in Mayfair. You will be amazed with the music memoribillia on show, as well as the tasty pizza's and well priced cocktails available. Thursday night at The Back Room sees some fantastic live bands on show so treat yourself to a night of rock n roll in London in an intimate and off-the-beaten track bar.
